@Prae54Rae Lol that's actually closer to the original spelling. The name Cairngorms is a 19th century English speaking foreigner who didn't know the range is called Am Monadh Ruadh naming it after the name of one mountain, An Càrn Gorm.

@SSalyers2 This is due to the use of English, where if we had retained our native languages, they would be forced to translate and our cultural sphere would be more centered on ourselves and balanced with regard to the neighbour. As English is the language, the centre is naturally England.
