@mothcafe and the idea of worrying about modern quality is admittedly foreign to me because i very rarely go for books that have been written in the last 10 years
@mothcafe perhaps though that doesn’t seem to be part of the complaint from this specific person, and it also is based on the bookstores in your area for sure!!! i never spend more than $10 on a book unless i cannot find a very specific book anywhere and have to turn to an online retailer
@luna_bane i’m very lucky!! though i will say that as much as i hate denton i fear the day i move away from recycled, other indie bookstores just can’t compare 😭
@luna_bane that’s so crazy!!!! in the houston area we don’t have a ton of indie book stores but i’ve never not been able to find good books at half price. & the town in CO where my mom lives has so many incredible indie bookstores so i guess i’m just crazy lucky!!
maybe i’ve just always been blessed with being near beautiful used book stores but i think some of you are just going to B&N and thinking that’s the only book store experience the world offers
