@eminr2025 @neodestourr When I'm on vacation in the Maghreb, they make jokes about us and mock us; in school, they teach that we are primitive barbarians, inferior to arabs. During the Kabyle Spring, hundreds of Amazigh died at the hands of Arabs and that wasn't so long ago.

There are no black Berbers; the Tuareg are black because they are descended from Berbers who enslaved black Sub-Saharan Africans and mixed with them. They live in the desert and have no connection to other Berbers. Pure-blooded Berbers live in Atlas, Aures Kabyle. @neodestourr

This led the Aqit family to migrate from Masina (presently in Mali) an area whose inhabitants were mainly black Fulani to Walata. Historian Ahmad Baba reported that Muhammad Aqit moved due to hatred for his Fulani neighbors, ensuring no intermarriage occurred.

I agree with that, only we Berbers from the Atlas, the Kabyle, the Chleuh, and the Aures are the true, pure Berbers. Online many North Africans larp as us, but they’re Arabs with sub-Saharan admixture; they’re LARPers in the West ashamed of their Arab heritage. We are a minority

Most North Africans identify as Arab, trying to berberize Arab North Africans will only lead to diluting true Berber culture, which is unhelpful.

Everyone needs to accept that : -North Africa today is majority Arab
-True Berbers are known and they are (Rifs, Kabyles, Chleuh, Chaouis to some extent)

Washington Denzel is supposed to cast Macrinus a Roman emperor of Numidian origin. Numidians were Imazighen (=berbers) they have nothing to do with black people, Numidians are related to coastal imazighen such as Kabyles.

However like i said we have their genetic samples, so its over for hoteps and afrocentrist. Numidians had berberid autosomal and are related to modern Imazighen (Kabyles, Chaoui, Riffians, Tunisians, Libyans Nefoussi etc…)
