@Whotfismick Had paper report cards in envelopes. Grades were written on the report in ink. Someone put a snowball in the drawer with the report cards. Later teacher takes report cards out of drawer to add next set of marks. Envelopes struck together & ink has run.
@emreadsthebooks There is a capitalized letter for the first word of each new sentence. When reading the Bee Sting I had to train my brain to recognize it but once trained it made the reading of the Imelda chapters easier.
@NovelistJessica Yes I have read it and it was a hit for me. If the themes of this novel resonate for you try Girlfriend On Mars by Deborah Willis and The Land of Milk and Honey by C. Pam Zhang.
We love to see New Brunswick law firms and lawyers contributing to our community.

Félicitations @CoxandPalmer !
@barb_sl When I did the laundry for the family that was the rule. I got to keep whatever was in the pockets. Some money from hubby’s jeans. Not so much from the kid’s pockets.
@quickbeam71 Did you ever think that maybe they are with the Royal Jewellers for maintenance & repairs? I take my rings to be inspected, cleaned & repaired frequently. Perfect time to do so, no appearances until after Easter.
@SavidgeReads We have a ginger kitty that comes to visit us once or twice a week. Otherwise he lives with his family in our neighbour hood. They are such beautiful cats.
@AshleyJDDG My spouse did something similar with the raccoons at our previous house. Made a deal with them that if they didn’t make a mess with the compost bin he wouldn’t bungee cord it closed. They seemed to understand. No further messes.
Sarah Bernstein (MA’12), graduate of the master’s program in English and the creative writing program from UNB, recently captured the spotlight as a shortlisted author for the prestigious international 2023 Booker Prize for her outstanding work, Study for Obedience 📖
Although the Booker Prize went to another author, Sarah still has a lot to celebrate! Earlier in the year she clinched the prestigious 2023 Scotiabank Giller Prize and secured a spot on Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists 2023 list 🎉

@jack929hfx@TimHoustonNS Every day every ER sees people who need stitches, who have uncomplicated broken bones, who have UTIs, who have something in their eye. ERs should have employees competent to handle these matters 24/7. These employees should just deal with these matters not other emergencies.
@PretendEditor Rarely. I recently had to get an old case from the 1970s in the NBRs. There was a lot of dust on the book. I have used federal statutes from the 1890s, and 1900s recently. Everything is mostly available online.
