As an MP in Belgium, I’m surprised every time I see some people so openly championing Hamas as freedom fighters for the Palestinian people.

Despite what many claim, Hamas is an Islamic terror organisation that not only wants to wipe Israel off the map but also wants to dominate the world with their ideology.

Like their leaders in the Islamic Republic of Iran, they are also convinced that Western civilisation must fall so that the world can be dominated by Islamists. When I was at school in Iran, after the takeover by the ayatollahs, every morning we had to chant "death to" various Western countries like America, but also Israel. And after this morning ceremony, we had to go to class. On the floor flags of America and Israel were painted and we had to step over them to show our disdain against these countries.
