He’s obviously thinking about something. The sudden “what’s wrong” asked by Deku and the previous events, triggered a memory… the answer is right there.
But the moment is gone.

Will kacchan be able to open up with Deku?

This part is a bit ambiguous. Kacchan doesn’t talk much but stares at the interaction between Deku and his mother. Why? Is this jealousy? Perhaps concern?
