Colb’s dad passed away of cancer when I was 20 weeks pregnant with Aubrie, but we knew we were having a baby girl, so before he passed we recorded him talking to her. We put his voice in a Build-A-Bear so she can hear him any time she wants. She loves her “papa” bear🐻❤️
🪄TRICK PLAY THURSDAY🪄
We’ve gotten quite a few trick play submissions in our DM’s recently, and here’s one!
How about a Sprint out Hook & Ladder in 8 Man! This is Lincoln (KS) running it to perfection.
Thanks to Colby Hamel (@Colby_Hamel) for the submission! #kpreps
Having 2 girls before I had a boy really showed me the difference when purchasing clothes. Girls have an insane amount of choices. My son? Either blue dinosaurs or green dinosaurs 😅
Purchased a ton of Gatorade, bananas, and all the pickle pops the store had for my husband’s football team.
Guy commented on my cart as I walked out of the store.

We’ve lived here for 3 weeks and my daughters already have a “usual” at the local coffee shop.
You walk in and say “Colby’s girls would like their usual” and barista whips it right up.
God bless my husband 😅
*driving through a terrible thunderstorm last night with a SCREAMING baby while NOT wearing his glasses*
my husband goes “actually babe, this isn’t even that stressful compared to making the right play call in a game situation”
😅This is the definition of being a coach’s wife lol
What type of dad did grow up with?
I’ll go first:
My dad has knee surgery on Thursday (on his second knee btw- first knee was last summer) and he’s still playing in his old man racquetball league tonight.
So yeah. You could say he didn’t raise us to be babies 😅
My mom texted me and said “I know exactly what I want to give you for your birthday and I just ordered it”
I kindly reminded her that all I want for my birthday this year is sleep and she cannot order that on Amazon…. 😭
@kroeger_juliana@abigail_rhine Omg stop… both girls were very humbling through my entire pregnancy and postpartum with Rudy.. continually asking “when will your tummy be flat again mommy?” 😭
Girls tonight at the supper table asked what their dad was allergic to.
Without hesitation, I say, “Losing. Every time your dad loses he gets sick. Your dad is literally allergic to losing. He has to win at everything he does.”
😅
Officially done with classes for my masters degree 🤩
Two more classes this summer and I will officially be a licensed school counselor & professional counselor.
Don’t let people tell you that you can’t have the family, career, AND education.
Y’all can do anything you want to.
4 final projects due for grad school, graduating in 12 days, moving in 1 month, raising 3 kids under the age of 6, teaching full-time, children’s ministry at church… it’s fine. I’m fine. Everything’s fine.
“The days are long, but the years are short.”
The year of Rudy was completely exhausting, but full of so much joy.
My heart is full knowing that you are my last baby.
I love you with all that I am.
🩵 Happy 1st Birthday, Son.
Rudy turns 1 on Friday and he’s started this week going 2 for 2 sleeping through the night… I don’t wanna jinx it, but it’s like he just decided to grow up over night 🥹
Nova came home and said “Mommy! I asked my teacher if she loved Jesus and she said yes! I’m going to draw her a picture with Jesus’ name on it!”

These are my favorite moments as a mom.
Hyping my kid up this morning as I wake her because she gets to go on her first field trip to a dairy farm.
I asked her “aren’t you so excited!?”
She responds with “well not really cuz I might step in cow poop”
….yep, she’s definitely my kid
I had to leave at 4:45 this morning to attend grad school and I cannot believe the amount of people already awake. People actually get up and function this early on a regular basis. Goodness sakes. God bless y’all.
