I’ve been feeling really burnout lately but seeing the FDA cite my first first author paper in their proposal to ban flavored cigars is just the boost I needed for a productive summer!
Today, @FDATobacco is announcing proposed product standards to prohibit menthol as a characterizing flavor in cigarettes and to prohibit all characterizing flavors (other than tobacco) in cigars. https://t.co/4Dv9rmSpEz
I’m thrilled to announce that I matched at one of my top choices for my clinical psychology predoctoral internship! My partner and I could not be more excited to move to Denver. Thankful for @thadlab, my family, friends and collaborators for the support along the way!
@gaylenfronk@apadivision50@OSUPsychology Thanks Good questions. The interventions were not centered around blackouts nor did they occur after blackouts. I was mainly trying to replicate work by Mary Beth Miller finding that PFIs coupled with recent blackouts can enhance intervention outcomes.
@DrNovisky This course sounds amazing! I wish my grad program offered something similar. If you wouldn’t mind sharing I would love to see a syllabus or reading list!
With my class going online for awhile, I emailed my students to reassure them. One of my students responded with:
“Thanks for being so encouraging. You’re a fantastic teacher!”
If we can assuage our students fears during this uncertainty then we’re doing our job as educators.
@julie_cristello If you’re interested in crime fiction at all, then I highly recommend the Cormoran Strike series under JK Rowling’s pseudonym, Robert Galbraith. I haven’t found any other mysteries that compare!
