@JonahDispatch@MillieOfferman Jonah -- You want the war to continue. So what do you think will happen if it does continue?
JK. I know you will never engage with the real issues and facts. You just hang around sniping at people for not following your made up "norms." Pathetic.
@JonahDispatch Jonah -- You are unfit for your job as a pundit. You have no right to have an opinion about the Ukraine war unless you can answer the question: "What will happen if the war continues?"
You lack the intellectual honesty and moral integrity to address any issues truthfully.
@FischerKing64 The conventional wisdom used to be that welfare caused people to have babies. Welfare causes plenty of problems but I'm not so sure that low birthrate is one of them.
@krassenstein @EPSedlock Bolton has a lot of experience f*cking up the world and wasting American money and lives. That much is true.
I like the fact that the Dems are defining themselves as the party of war and waste. It gives Americans a clear choice.
@MedGold_ The post war "Baby Boom" generation, which arguably made sense as a demographic category due to the size of the cohort and shared cultural experiences.
But every designation since then has been kinda dumb. But humans just need to impose patterns where none exist.
Old age benefits mean parents have more money to leave to their kids and that the kids save money from not having to take care of their parents. So I think you may have that economic flow backward.
That said, government benefits (and the taxes to pay for them) tend to reduce the need for families to take care of each other. For better and worse.
@RichardHanania Zelensky looked strung out like he pulled an all-nighter and then did a couple bumps to stay awake. It didn't help that he was wearing his GI Joe sweater.
Also, he looks so tiny when he sits in that big chair next to Trump. Like a child being lectured by his dad.
@DavidAFrench If it's called a "vaccine" it has to be safe and effective, right?
No more faith-based medicine by political hacks and shills. We need placebo-controlled tests. Then we can say whether something makes America "healthy."
P.S., Why are all anti-Trumpers also Pharma shills?
@RnaudBertrand I don't think Biden changed the policy, he just couldn't remember what it was supposed to be on the rare occasions they let him speak out loud.
Hanania is less concerned with intellectual engagement than in redirecting people to his Substack with a paid subscription feature.
Nothing wrong with trying to make a buck. But let's not pretend this is about intellectual enlightenment.
That said. It's kind of weird that X isn't better with long form essay-type posts. It could be that the algorithm wants to keep you scrolling instead of slowing down to learn something. That would be a little bit nefarious, IMHO.
The snowstorm is visually interesting, but they needed to give some minimal setup/pretext for why he's out there. Otherwise it just seems puzzling and contrived.
Having a random white guy solve his Rubik's Cube is like some symbolism that he's temporarily offloading his high-IQ ethnic striver nerdism while he talks down to the common people.
Whatever he was saying was utterly forgettable . . . blah, blah,
@elonmusk An extra couple hundred thousand a year won't stop their corruption, though. They all end up with tens of millions after a few years in "public service."
@RichardHanania It's funny that the guy who never stops yapping about the glories of "elite human capital" is actually a moron who can't actually support or defend his ideas.
Being a wordcel engagement troll and actually knowing real things are pretty different.
@skdh@michaelshermer He said "the moment of birth." You're proving his point because you won't engage with that hypothetical and change the subject to "carry[ing] it around for 9 months."
Can you pick anytime when you think it's wrong to end a baby's life before it's 100% out of the birth canal?
