Silence isn’t masculine, responsibility is. And the heavier a man’s responsibility becomes, the more his silence turns into necessity, not avoidance. It’s not that men don’t want to speak. It’s that some truths feel too fragile to survive misinterpretation. That’s why a responsible man learns to carry his storms quietly.

Women aren’t getting BBLs for themselves. They’re getting them for the male gaze. Not for one man, but for the collective approval of men as a whole. It’s social currency, attention, desirability, clout. The irony? Most men don’t even like the cartoonish BBL look.
We built a Time Machine... let me explain. A few weeks ago, we shared a photograph from the late 1800s showing young Shona speaking maidens in the 1890s wearing leather skirts with chevron patterns, beads, jewellery, and ostrich eggshell ornaments .
We decided to recreate this iconic look in 2025 in the same way it was back then.We imagined the tones and textures of the leather, cowhide, and accessories 200 years ago.
