@lamp_otto@SharylAttkisson@FullMeasureNews Incorrect. Article 194(1) of the Constitution gives the Sejm the exclusive power to elect the 15 Constitutional Tribunal judges. The Constitution itself says nothing about an oath or any role for the President in the appointment process.
@_K_i_j_i_@Shadow48621@mhorala Which is a violation of Article 194(1) of the Constitution that gives the Sejm the exclusive power to elect the 15 Constitutional Tribunal judges. The Constitution itself says nothing about an oath or any role for the President in the appointment process.
@Shadow48621@mhorala Yawn, the CT itself held that the President is obliged to administer the oath promptly to a validly elected judge and that the statutory oath requirement cannot be read as giving the President a veto or discretion over whether the judge assumes office.
