It is tragical that people like this guy are the ones influencing public opinions in Nigeria, particularly on matters that bother on national security, dignity and sovereignty.

The position canvassed here is highly myopic, degrading, backward and retrogressive.

Unfortunately this kind of thinking is what has kept the black man in chains for centuries - the utter illusion that they are inferior to the white man, that they cannot solve their own problems, and that their help can only come from outside.

This is the same kind of thinking that entrapped our forefathers.

They naively thought that the foreigners came to help them and before they could say jack - they had ended up as slaves, powering the plantations and industries of their white slave masters in the US, Caribbean and Britain. Not only that, their own God-given countries and resources were colonised by their foreign “friends” right before them.

If America truly wants to help persecuted Christians in Nigeria, they will offer asylum to them, just like she did for white South Africans that are allegedly facing genocide. They will also be launching attacks against countries like Saudi Arabia and North Korea where Christian freedom is virtually nonexistent.

If America truly cares about Nigeria, she will care not only about the Christians that are being killed but also the thousands of innocent Muslims who are probably being killed in greater number than the Christians.

If America genuinely wants to help Nigeria end the insurgency, she will offer assistance to Nigeria in the forms of intelligence and advanced technology, not issuing threats to a sovereign democratic country and Africa’s most populous country.
