@elshayib_ This is true, I can attest to it. I tried to follow the AI bros best practices with many md files containing instructions and patterns and god knows what else… only to achieve a worse performance
Given the current enthusiasm about Omarchy Linux, I would truly like to contribute. Maybe with a security patch, or something similar… but even with my years of experience as developer (in SAP projects or web apps) I truly do not even know where to begin.
I know it has its public. But this 10xn thing is yet another way to monetize our attention. More spam. More squeezing money out of our love for technology.
Good luck, though. I think I will forever stop watching YouTube.
It was a good run.
I would try to figure out why LLMs can write my essays but not clean my bedroom.
Then I would study topics in college and grad school that could help solve that problem.
I'll figure out a set of methods and architectures beyond LLMs that can quickly learn to perform physical tasks as efficiently as humans and animals.
That last item is also what I would if I were 30, 40, 50, or 66 years old 😉
Ok, I am a nerd. I like computers. I like when people talk about computers.
I hate drama. Why does everything has to end up in drama? Linux, video games, AI, etc.
I might be hallucinating, but I tested API based Google Gemini Flash and it is surprisingly adequate and even faster than my Claude Max 100 usd subscription using Opus 5.
@Zer0Lib@dhh I understand what opinionated means. What I meant is that, for any Linux distribution, MacOS, and Windows, things have been picked for me. Are all of those “opinionated” too? If so, why single out Omarchy?
