🚨 Thierry Henry on Liverpool signing Bradley Barcola in a package worth up to £123m:
🗣️ Henry: “I think PSG made one mistake. They gave Liverpool a number.
They probably thought the valuation would end the conversation. You put that kind of price on Barcola because you’re basically saying, ‘We like our player, please go away.’
Liverpool apparently heard, ‘We like our player, here are the bank details.’
But that also tells you something about Barcola. PSG didn’t value him like somebody they were looking to sell. Liverpool still looked at the talent, the age, what he’s already done in Europe and decided they wanted him regardless.
So now there’s nowhere to hide. Your old club valued you like they couldn’t afford to lose you and your new club paid like they couldn’t afford not to have you. Go and show everybody why.”
Get a haircut every 2 weeks to stay sharp, wait 5 secs before answering the phone to control the rhythm, always arrive 15 mins early, stay away from free lunches, never talk about people who aren't in the room, and when anger rises, wait 10 mins before reacting. These habits may look rigid, but they're the hidden discipline of the elite.
At this age, you have to think long-term. Focus on your career and goals. Save money, and find someone you can grow and pray with. We can no longer afford to waste time. Focus on what truly matters in the long run: stability, loyalty, and peace of mind.
🚨 Rio Ferdinand on Enzo Maresca's Manchester City:
🗣️ “I think Enzo Maresca is starting to get everyone's attention now. Since Pep left, it felt like Manchester City had lost some of that spotlight - and the defeat against Arsenal at the start of the season only made the noise louder.
But look at them now. They're still on fire.
What I like about City is that they aren't making unnecessary noise in the transfer market. They're building quietly. Bouaddi arrived last week, now Ndiaye is being linked with a move, and they're reportedly close to Enzo Fernández.
Those are serious players.
Ndiaye especially has the profile Pep Guardiola always loved - quality, intelligence and the ability to improve within the right system. I think City could bring another level out of him.
If these deals are completed, don't tell me Manchester City aren't Premier League contenders again. And with that squad?
They could be a serious problem in Europe too.
Sending lots of love to the Apple community on my last day as CEO. My title changes tomorrow, but the love I have for the Apple community never will. Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration. My gratitude is endless, and I’m excited for the next chapter!
I watched WALL-E recently and one thing really stuck with me.
Humans in the movie have technology doing almost everything for them, and eventually they lose a lot of basic independence.
We’re obviously not there yet, but sometimes I wonder if we’re moving in that direction.
Maybe 20 years from now, having a physical library, writing with a pen, knowing how to find information yourself, and actually knowing how to sit with your own thoughts will be considered a luxury.
@FullTimeX_ Let respond on behalf of city. Please thank you for proving that Cherki is world class player we already have one Enzo here so you can keep the other one
