@JessiGar10 @AubreyDiOrio It is a teacher preference. I have used seesaw and think it is great. There are so many wonderful tools out there. Just as parents can choose which tools work best for them, I am glad teachers have that same flexibility.
⚠️WARNING⚠️TEACHERS⚠️
ALL kids deserve a second chance. ALL kids deserve to start a new year off with a clean slate. ALL kids need their previous teachers to tell their future teacher about what they did great.
TEACHERS DO NOT NEED A WARNING⚠️ABOUT KIDS. @SteeleThoughts
@AubreyDiOrio My nature is to over nurture. It is amazing to see how much they can do when just given the opportunities. Ss are now leading morning meetings Who would have known that letting them answer the phone would bring them so much happiness?
@Caitlin1339 @JetsPrincipal @GridleyDaniel @molnar2ndbces @JetsIRT @BcesMaynard @kortneyhowerton @bcesmrosborn @MrsMiller_PE @AubreyDiOrio To help them focus I set aside time for them to set goals and then help them come up with a plan to reach that goal.

They gain confidence to lead and follow, because they feel they have a purpose and they feel respected and safe.
@Caitlin1339 My biggest concern is releasing the power. It is such a paradigm shift in the education philosophy that I began my teaching career with. Questions were great and always welcomed, but the teacher was suppose to have or get all the answers and maintain the control.
@AubreyDiOrio @Flipgrid My students worked in groups to do a text feature scavenger hunt. They used the Scholastic News to find the type and then labeled them. They created posters that turned out great. The collaboration was amazing!! #bcesLearnlap#WESlearnlap
