At this time of year it is even more important to let those grieving know they are not alone.
Please wear our little umbrella pins to let others know you are grieving.
If you see someone with our orange umbrella, please be extra kind. 🧡☂️ they are a symbol of help and hope.

‘ The second of our book recommendations this Children’s Grief Awareness Week is ‘Why Do Things Die?’ written by Katie Daynes and illustrated by Christine Pym.
This delightful picture book for young children very simply talks about life and death. It covers a range of emotions and facts around death, with questions such as why do things die? is it ok to talk about dying? and how can I stop feeling sad? It includes questions for the reader to answer about their own experiences and a section at the back for adults on how to best use the book.
This resource could be used as a starting point for discussion with very young children about death and dying’

How brilliant is this?!
Mandy raised a whopping £2,156.50 in support of the amazing work Cruse do and in memory of her daughter, Rhegane💜
Though scared of heights, Mandy said she took her courage from thinking of Rhegane and in the end, she loved every second of the skydive!
Having had a wonderful time with jewellery for the last few years of my life. A turn of direction. Started training to be a counsellor during lockdown. Having gone through training and achieving various qualifications I update my profile today. Cruse Cambridge bereavement support
@IanBroughall OMG that’s so sad. It’s so hard to help people when we don’t know what their battle is but yet it’s incredibly hard to say “I’m struggling and I need help” If we can be anything...we need to be kind. 🙏🏼
