Now Jair's son Flavio Boldonaro is just days from a likely Presidential win in Brazil!

Elon has never minced words about Alexandre De Moraes. He just voted in the election… presumably for Lula.

This man has demanded secret censorship, threatened to jail platform staff, and betrayed Brazil’s constitution while wearing a judge’s robe. He holds executive, judicial, and legislative power he was never elected to, keeps Lula on a leash, and belongs in prison.

Elon and X refused Moraes’s secret censorship orders, lifted blocked accounts, and shut the Brazil office after he threatened to jail Elon’s staff. Moraes then banned X and froze Starlink’s money to collect the fines, even though Starlink is a separate company.

This is who Lula aligns with.

What we are witnessing in Brazil is the biggest political backfire in modern political history.

Communist tyrants came after Brazil’s Trump, Jair Bolsonaro.

He survived an assassination attempt.
They banned him from running for office.
Then they threw him in jail.

They accused him of attempting a coup after his election was stolen, just like they did here to Trump.

He’s currently serving a 27 year prison sentence.

The response: His wife won a Senate seat. His son Carlos won a Senate seat. His son Renan won a seat in Congress. His son Flávio is ahead of Lula for president of Brazil.

His son could unseat the very tyrant who threw him in jail.

The persecution of Bolsonaro has backfired into a political retribution against those who weaponized Government against the people's will.

You might be able to try to silence a man but you cannot silence a movement.

It's hard to overstate how insane things in Brazil have become after Lula's polling lead over Flavio Bolsonaro -- held most of the year -- has largely vanished. The first round of voting is Sunday. The likely Lula/Bolsonaro runoff would be Oct. 25. Look at this:

Last night, Brazil's largest media outlet, Globo, was to hold the only presidential debate thus far. Lula refused to go.

Globo's rules (which Lula's party agreed to) are that any candidate who refuses to debate will have an empty podium with their name on it -- to highlight their refusal to debate for the voting public -- and the other candidates will be given time to state the questions they would have posed to the missing candidate. This is common.

But at the very last minute (just moments before it was to begin), a left-wing, Lula-aligned election judge issued a censorship order barring Globo from showing Lula's empty podium, and also banned Globo from allowing the other candidates to state the questions they had for Lula. So Bolsonaro pulled out over the censorship, and Globo canceled the debate in anger.

As Lula's campaign gets more desperate, the election (like the country itself) has come to be ruled by his allies on the Supreme Court and judiciary more broadly, using blunt, daily censorship (as they did when Lula barely beat Jair Bolsonaro in 2022) to ensure Lula's victory. Kind of amazing to watch how deeply into full-on lawlessness and tyranny they're plunging.
