Year 1 had a fantastic interactive experience with fossils, eggs and actual dinosaurs in school this morning!

Year 1 are very busy this week measuring dinosaur bones, painting repeated patterns with dinosaur footprints, making moving pterodactyls and writing exciting dinosaur stories!

This morning Mrs Adams and Mrs Binns have been on Block Play training at St. Andrew's Primary School in Newport. A great insight into the huge benefits of block play in Foundation Phase.

Today Mrs Thomas & Mrs Bajjada have been on a 'Yoga Kids' training course; another aspect to our wellbeing & learning support work. They'll be teaching children across Foundation Phase soon.

Year 1 have started their STEM project all about towers.....we are building towers that have to be 1metre tall and hold a fossil, using the chrome books to describe towers and drawing different types of towers!
