I think you are misdirecting your energy. You have a strong voice and a great brand, but you waste too much time in the gutter. Lose your TDS.
Rent control is the second-best way to destroy a city, after bombing. And, because of what it leads to in terms of under investment in repairing, maintaining, constructing new apartments, I think this is likely to exacerbate rather than improve issues around housing affordability in New York. This would be a gross policy error by @ZohranKMamdani.

David, big fan. Donβt agree on everything, but a lot. Still, is it possible that all of this needed change could be messaged to our wider, broader, and very diverse population in a less strident way; not everyone is us. It might be a winning strategy for greater acceptance and adoption.
