“Bandits are demanding money, weapons, and concessions that could impact the future laws of this state. If you were governor, would you negotiate with them?” — Oyo Speaker Adebo Ogundoyin speaks on the growing debate over negotiating with kidnappers.
Seyi Makinde is under attack on social media by APC e-rats, when kidnappings became a daily occurrence in Ondo state, we pleaded with the Government to act, APC is clearly telling us to do it the other way round.
Lessons learnt.
“When we were all joining the ADC, Victor Umeh spoke to me and made it clear that the only chance the Igbo people have is to work with the North, and for our brother, Peter Obi, to become Vice President to Atiku Abubakar.” — Kenneth Okonkwo
Lol APC people are agitating for a state of emergency in Oyo state, they were quiet when Kwara was under siege, these same set of people will tell you not to politicize insecurity, pity them NOT!!!
They’re very useless!

COURT OF APPEAL JUDGMENT INVALIDATES RECOGNITION GIVEN TO ILLEGAL PDP CARETAKER COMMITTEE
Our lawyers have informed us that earlier today, the Court of Appeal held that there were no longer any live issues in the appeal since the main issue relates to the national convention, which the Supreme Court has nullified.
The court also held, inter alia, that the part of the judgment recognising the Caretaker Committee was not an issue before the court and therefore ought not to have been made in the first place. On this score, the court said that the right decision would have been to order a retrial, but in the circumstance where the main issue has become academic, a retrial will serve no useful purpose.
Furthermore, the Court also affirmed the suspension of A.K. Ajibade (and by extension Sam Anyanwu and co.) and held that he had no power to act on behalf of the Party.
This judgment of the Court of Appeal nullifies the judgment of the Federal High Court, Ibadan. The Independent National Electoral Commission, which used the FHC judgment as its basis for recognising the illegal Caretaker Committee, is expected to immediately derecognise them and now recognise the duly constituted Interim National Working Committee led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN.

GOV AIYEDATIWA COMMENDS JUDICIARY, SECURITY AGENCIES ON DEATH SENTENCE OF OWO TERROR ATTACK SUSPECTS
Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has commended the Judiciary and security agencies for securing the conviction and death sentence of the four suspects responsible for the June 5, 2022 terror attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo.
The Governor described the court verdict as a victory for justice, the rule of law, and for all victims of the heinous attack that claimed the lives of innocent worshippers and left many others injured.
He noted that the diligence of the prosecution team, the thoroughness of investigators, and the courage of the judiciary have shown that government will not tolerate acts of terror or violence against its people. This judgment sends a clear message that those who take innocent lives will face the full weight of the law, no matter how long it takes.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also appreciated the resilience of the people of Owo and the Catholic community who, despite the trauma, have remained steadfast and committed to peace. He reassured all residents that his administration will continue to work closely with security agencies to strengthen intelligence gathering, protect public spaces, and ensure such a tragedy never repeats itself in our state.
While nothing can bring back the lives lost, the Governor said this judgment provides a measure of closure and hope that justice is possible. He prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed and for God’s comfort for the families they left behind.
Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan,
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State.
June 3, 3026.
I have just read the communique released by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) under the leadership of His Grace Archbishop Daniel Okoh from the 2026 National Church Leaders Summit and I align with the concern and sympathies of the Church in Nigeria over the security of the lives of Nigerians.
The demand for a comprehensive review of the nation’s security architecture, enhanced intelligence gathering, stronger inter-agency cooperation, improved operational effectiveness and greater accountability in the fight against terrorism, banditry and violent crime, are all fully in line with my position on the failure of the Tinubu-led Federal Government.
It is encouraging for Nigerians to see Christians from various denominations and blocs unite in this spiritual wake-up call upon the political leadership to do better. From the Catholic Secretariat to the Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), the Organisation of African Instituted Churches to the TEKAN/ECWA and other Christian blocs in Nigeria, the declaration of a three-day period of national mourning should serve as moments of reflection for all political leaders, especially those in power with the responsibility to do better by Nigerians.
As insecurity ravages without concern for religious or ethnic differences which have been made more glaring by the 360 degrees failure of the incumbent government, I commend this noble effort to hold the ruling party accountable and encourage solidarity from all Nigerians in this regard. I enjoin other faith organisations especially of the Muslim block to lend their voices to this wake-up call.
On behalf of the political opposition whom Tinubu has ignored as well as the Nigerian people, I urge Tinubu to listen to this urgent call from CAN and diligently ponder his courses of action beyond rhetorics, at least for his remaining months in office. -AA

“There was a time in some churches when watching television was an abomination, but now it’s accepted. Those who also said they don’t take blood transfusion now also take it. If it can change, it was never the truth” — Apostle Femi Lazarus
Earlier today, in a separate enforcement operation, our team apprehended 22 beggars at Oshodi and Agege, comprising adults and a few teenagers. Additionally, 14 adults and 9 children were apprehended at CMS.

Whoever made this video has provided police and other intelligence agencies enough clues that would help with their investigations.
This is bravery. I hope special
Attention is given to their safety. Possibly a relocation.
