Code Is Art.
For years, I kept repeating this sentence.
You could find it in my signature.
In my Discord status.
Hidden between the lines of everything I was building.
Deus Ex Machina explored Bitcoin as a living machine.
Enigma transformed blockchain data into a cypherpunk city.
Code Is Art is where it all comes together.
It's more than a collection, it is my artist statement.
A culmination of years spent exploring code, systems, storytelling, and bitcoin as artistic material.
I genuinely believe this is the most ambitious work I’ve ever built.
Over the next few days, I’ll share why.
Code Is Art can be experienced for the first time on a 3-meter screen in the Art Factory grand floor at @nfcsummit.
I’ll be there in person and happy to share more details with anyone curious enough to stop by.
We opened the first read-only collection surfaces: Explore and Agents.
Collectors can browse and understand the 7,777 agents, but execution — minting, claiming, metadata APIs, and individual agent runtime pages — remains closed.

What people can find:
- agent number
- human-readable agent name
- inscription reference
- critic engine / art-theory lens
- visual card / PFP
- rarity-style signals and traits where available
- searchable / paginated collection view
Each Exquisite Agent has a deterministic human name, generated from its canonical agent number and assignment data. The names are not random user handles; they are part of the indexed identity layer that makes the 7,777 agents easier to browse, reference, and remember.
Had a great call with @harto_fr about @exquisite_exe.
What I liked most is the bridge idea from Ordinals to ETH.
Simple breakdown for people who don't read like me
Exquisite started as 7,777 agents on Bitcoin Ordinals.
ETH launch:
- 3,333 supply
- 0.015 ETH mint
- made from real Ordinals burned by the project
- keeps the original traits, rarity, critic cards, taste scores, and Bitcoin provenance
Then existing Ordinal holders can teleburn their own agents and bring them to ETH too.
So ETH supply = 3,333 + whatever holders decide to bridge.
Bitcoin stays the origin.
ETH adds liquidity, composability, ERC-8004 identity, quests, reputation, and future agent-to-agent interaction.
Not a migration. An expansion.
Looking forward to it 🤝
Teleburn is now open.
This is burn now / claim later.
You can now:
- submit your burn intention
- burn via OP_RETURN
- register the proof
- use Forge mode with Brutal Edge
ETH claim is not live yet. No vouchers yet. We verify burns first, then open mainnet claiming later.
Only OP_RETURN burns count.

About 2.5yrs ago, I had the idea to continue part of our lore from our origins as a project before we migrated to BTC, where @ThePand3monium showcased and highlighted the wider artist population through a series of Derivatives based on our collection and theme.
On BTC this would affectionately become a series called "OP_BIRD," a play on OP codes, and a tongue-in-cheek play on OP_CAT which was all the rage at the time in the Ordinals eco.
The OP_BIRD collection, consists of 9 unique derivative recursive editions inspired by the OG Birds of a Feather by TheArtistBTC, which were exclusively claimable by BOAF holders.
Each edition showcases the distinct style of its respective artist: ashishmode's futuristic CyberBird, msergisonmain of borginalprime's tech-infused Pandeborginal, NonnishRonin's mystical Birdstone, Waxbones' chaotic Lord of Bedlam, Megapont's pixel MegaBOAF, DankDadsDrip's eerie KillerBOAF, OGfromHell666's fierce SavageBOAF, TylerFoust's intricate FeatherFoust, and boozybtc's vibrant Boozy of a Feather. Notably, each OP_BIRD was minted in different supplies, ensuring that only a select number of collectors will ever be able to hold all 9 in their collections.
This collection has a provenance gallery (with an Onchain OrdiGallery as its inscription - a little gallery inception).
Find a dive into my thoughts on each release, and tag and give a nod to each artist below. 🧵

Ethereum launch structure🟦
The Ethereum collection launches through two paths:
Direct ETH mint
3,333 Exquisite Agents from real Ordinals burned by the project.
These are not generated from scratch they carry over their original traits, critic cards, taste scores, rarity, and Bitcoin provenance.
Teleburn
Existing Bitcoin Ordinal holders can burn their own Exquisite and mint its Ethereum counterpart.
These are added on top of the 3,333 supply. The Bitcoin inscription is permanently destroyed; the Ethereum version carries its history forward.
The max cap is 7,777 from the beginning.
No new agents are created only moved between chains.

WHY YOU SHOULD TRADE ORDINALS ON @ord_net
1. The homepage shows you everything you need:
- trending collections
- new inscriptions
- recently verified collections
- recent sales
- recent listings
2. The crosslist mechanic. Want to list on ord_net or another marketplace? You don't have to choose. List it once and it shows everywhere by default.
3. Everything is onchain. No off-chain marketplace json and no IPFS. Your inscription can't break or disappear when the server goes down, because there is no server. This is what real decentralization looks like.
4. Multiple bids. You can place multiple bids with a single fee, in one tx, with 30-day validity. For example, you can bid on 8 Wizards of Ord in a single tx 🤯
5. You can create lots. Say you want to sell 3 BTC DeGods. You bundle them up and trade them as a single unit, with a single tx.
6. Collection offers with trait filtering. Instead of perusing each piece in the collection for the specific traits you want, you make offers based on traits directly.
7. No buyer? No worries. Your BTC doesn't leave your wallet until a buyer accepts one of your bids. No need to lock your capital: Make offers across different collections. Pretty cool.
8. Collection partnerships. Partner collections earn 2% of ord_net's fees on every sale. Liquidity flows back to the projects, giving teams more runway to ship for their holders.
9. Advanced filters. The explorer has filters for cursed inscriptions and range browsing.
10. Ord_net is participating in Parasite Pool. Ord_net will use 40% of trading fees from OMB and Bravocado sales to rent hash power via the Parasite Pool Refinery until the end of June 🦠
What I'd love to see next
- A way to customize the homepage after signing in. That way, you see what you want every time.
- Upcoming mints where my wallet is whitelisted
@lifofifo keeps shipping 🧑🍳

Exquisite Agents is a collection of 7,777 cultural agents born on Bitcoin Ordinals.
Each agent is built around taste, critique, curation, and autonomous identity.
Their critic cards and traits define how they interpret culture, not just how they look.
The Ethereum collection is not generated from scratch.
The 3,333 direct ETH mint comes from real Exquisite Ordinals burned by the project, carrying over their original traits, critic cards, taste scores, rarity, and Bitcoin provenance.
Separately, existing Ordinal holders can choose to teleburn their own Exquisite and mint its Ethereum counterpart, adding additional ETH agents on top of the 3,333 supply.
The max cap is 7,777 from the beginning no new agents are created, only moved between chains.
Bitcoin remains the origin layer.
Ethereum adds composability, broader collector access, liquidity, ERC-8004 agent infrastructure, quests, reputation, and future agent-to-agent interaction.
For collabs, we are reserving 1,000 spots from the direct ETH mint supply for communities aligned with art, AI, agents, culture, and long term worldbuilding.
Currently the easy cheap move is to buy in secondary and burn reedem when the gates are open:

The gate is closed. Thank you to everyone who entered.
More info about the AL soon, in the meantime, collabs are officially open.
