You like flowers, dinners and dates. Traveling and having a relationship that maxes out its full potential but you’re keeping yourself stuck with someone that just wants to hunch and draw emotional rings around out of hopes that it’ll turn into something. Stop doing that!

Situationships are a scam. Note I said situationships and not just casual sex partners. Casual sex is just casual sex. There’s an understanding that it’s just sex. Situationships however creates room for low self esteem and an emotional predator preying on a lack of self worth.

Someone who has no intention of making you their partner should not be blocking you from finding yours.

They make it clear you’re not in a relationship then slowly start acting like you are. Drawing a line of blind loyalty and making you feel like the minute you seek better what you have is no more. My advice is to let it burn.

This person argues that they cannot be with you. Whether it be finances, mental health, past trauma. It’s always something. However they refuse create opportunity for someone who actually wants you to have you.
