I don’t want a soft life because I’m lazy. I want a soft life because I’ve spent most of my life in survival mode. my nervous system has been in fight or flight since childhood and now I’m choosing peace and stability.
Nope. When I saw ppl jogging out in wildfire smoke and doing yoga on the roof in 2023 I realized that our modern notions of health and fitness are rooted in disorder. I mean I realized it before that but it couldn't be more stark at that point.
Dude I don’t want life to be like this. The people causing this have names and addresses, they are well known. Something needs to be done, we all need to do it. This is not a livable situation.
If you see this, you’re a leftist, & you don’t take covid precautions (wearing a respirator in public), would you be willing to share why? I have people “like” my insta stories about masking who then share pics of gathering in large crowds often with no masks. Help me understand?
I think it's the opposite. The way that climate change has been handled was a preview for how COVID would be handled.
Ignore it and hope it will be okay, while locking in more and more long term consequences.
Men are uncomfortable with women calling out predatory male behavior on Love Island because it forces them to confront the possibility that they, too, come across as coercive, manipulative, or unsettling to most women
It’s no coincidence that the biggest existential threats to the planet right now, SARS-CoV-2 and climate change, are being completely ignored by governments worldwide, and that both these things disproportionately affect the poor, disabled, and the vulnerable.
It’s a mass cull.
Love Island for me is a live study in sexual economics of hetero dynamics; how bodies, race, skin tone, personality, trauma, insecurities, fears and attractiveness interact and are weaponised in competition, and how the public’s voting choices reveal our biases and pecking order.
Best decision I ever made was to consistently wear an N95.
It’s not always easy or fun but like my dad taught me, “do the hard things first.” You won’t see me without a mask on at least until we start understanding air like we do water - it’s better for everyone when clean.
You don't need the government to implement an N95 mandate to wear an N95. You don't need the government to ban GenAI to stop using it. You can do the right thing on your own.
In the future, it will become readily apparent and accepted how much of what we think of as "aging" is a function of the turnover that viral infections cause in our bodies over time.
If you are serious about anti-aging, infection prevention and treatment should be top of mind.
Imagine trying to understand why a house keeps filling with water whilst refusing to acknowledge the tap is still running. To the point where anyone suggesting the tap needs turning off is deemed an extremist.
That is roughly the level of analysis being applied to COVID in 2026.
