I’m sorry but people trying to defend Liberty’s pregnancy storyline on the basis of it being good for shock value is so annoying, they took one out of two black female characters on the show and made her a black teen mom stereotype with her baby daddy selling drugs and most of it was not from her POV. Nearly ALL of it was from JT’s POV, that is NOT a good storyline for a black female character, it was pure garbage!

I like how both Sarah and Shane told me that it isn’t entirely true that the actors on The Next Generation wore their own clothes to set and that Mike Lobel has said before that his personal taste in fashion didn’t align with what he had to wear as Jay but Degrassi fans to this day are running with misinformation on this subject to this day 😭.
