Proof that the grind is never in vain.
A trophy earned.
A story written.
From the grind to the glory. 🏉💪
I wish Kisumu rfc ingepata a good sponsor ndo we create one big rugby community in Western and Nyanza. I think one way to unlock the potential of our rugby ni to bring rugby back to grassroots. Posh rugby ya ngong na thika road will not work. @kisumurfc
Kenyan rugby: “We need to grow the game and attract more fans.”
Also Kenyan rugby: KSh 1,000 at the gate

I've met people who smoke, drink and speak very rudely like a Makanga and probably couldn't tell you the last time they stepped inside a church.
Call them at 2am in the morning and say, "Bro, I need you." Watch how fast they show up.
Some of them will miss work for you, lose money for you, drive an hour just to make sure you're straight, give you their last 1,000 knowing damn well they need it too.
Then you get somebody sitting in the front row every Sunday, Bible under their arm, hands in the air:
"Hallelujah! Praise God!" Service isn’t even being over ten damn minutes and they're already in the parking lot talking about somebody.
"Did you see what she had on?"
"You heard her daughter pregnant?"
"I heard her husband left."
Damn! Did y'all come to worship God or collect everybody's fucking business?
And what really gets me is some of them will look down on you just because you don't go to church.
Like sitting in that building every Sunday automatically made them a better human being.
It didn't.
Because you can know every Bible verse by heart and still have a nasty fucking heart.
Character isn’t about how loud you praise God when everybody's watching.
It's how you treat people when there isn’t an audience.
It's what you do when somebody needs you.
It's whether you help somebody without needing everybody to know you helped them.
And it's whether you can look at somebody living differently than you and still treat them like a human being.
Personally as George, I stopped judging people by appearances a long time ago.
Because I'd rather sit next to somebody who smells like smoke but has a heart full of love than next to somebody who smells like Sunday morning but treats people like shit Monday through Saturday.
Enjoy your Friday.
After the Impala Floodlit finals. There's a 21 day period before the Kenya Cup officially kicks off. Clubs in the Kenya Cup should use these 504 hours to introduce fans to their squad, new signings, debutants, technical benches etc.
JKUAT Cougars vs Daystar Falcons is going to be a proper game! Two varsity sides competing in the Kenya Cup and now meeting in the Floodlit finals? Hii ni rugby proper! @ImpalaRfc I hope finals zitafuatana back to back .But hapo kwa ticket eei 1K for comrades NO.
For 1k you get a full day of 15s rugby. Also a cup final. You bigots should cut Impala some slack.
You expect the sport to grow but aren't willing to pay for it? Grow how?
