The Pios finished strong on day two! Vanessa Uitenbroek and Steven Hermsen were crowned champions in the discus, Hermsen was named the Co-Field Athlete of the Meet, and the rest of the all-conference performers were honored!

Dan Gable went into his last college match at Iowa with a record of 117-0. He lost. His response was to win an Olympic Gold Medal at the 1972 games. He didn’t allow his opponents one single point along the way. In any match. Went on to be a pretty good coach. Career coaching record: 355-21-5
