This is deeply concerning, and as someone who previously promoted $ZEPH, I feel obligated to warn others. The fact that suspicious transactions happened six months ago yet action is being taken only now is unacceptable.
You admit unauthorized ZEPH might already be circulating, yet there’s no clarity on the scope of the damage. Disabling deposits may contain future issues, but what about the harm already done to legitimate users?
To illustrate how dire this is, I even joked about buying coins OTC from the “hacker.” But this isn’t a joke for those of us now facing massive losses.
Frankly, I don’t see any resolution here with an upside. On the contrary, this will only result in missing the bull market as trust from the user base has been irreparably damaged. Without trust, the protocol has no future, and this situation has ensured that trust is gone.
Transparency and accountability are critical now—but even that may no longer be enough.
@ExploreLbry@kayabaNerve How much more proof do you need? You’re working for the hacker, to get even more users rekt. $ZEPH are thieves and common criminals!
@MiaRocksDiab@kayabaNerve That their new supply is 55 million $zeph and The Hacker holds 48 million $zeph (almost 90% of the supply)
Leadership knew about it, put out a fix, didn’t tell anyone, lied to the community and are still blatantly shill and fishing for liquidity.
🚨 $ZEPH ARE SCAMMERS 🚨
An anonymous developer, Tay, has found the output commitments (hiding the amounts) for the invalid BP+s invalid present on the Zephyr blockchain.
For each of the three TXs, the difference is 16 million $ZEPH.
The official supply is ~6.4 million.
Red Flags and Things to Think About $ZEPH @zephyr_org
Dodging Responsibility: The team’s announcement from today on discord doesn’t really take responsibility for the issues we’re seeing. Sure, they’re saying they’ll investigate, but there’s no acknowledgment of how these vulnerabilities even got there in the first place.
Slow to Act: They know the risks, but their response feels way too reactive. Instead of getting ahead of the problem, they seem to be playing catch-up.
Overplaying the Haven Differences: They keep pointing out how Zephyr isn’t like Haven, but they don’t really explain why that means we’re safe. It feels more like a distraction than an answer.
Mixed Signals: One minute, they’re saying they’re on high alert; the next, they’re downplaying the whole thing. This back-and-forth comes off as them being unsure or just trying to keep people calm without actually fixing anything.
The Bottom Line
Let’s be real—this announcement feels more like damage control than a real solution. It’s vague, full of speculation, and doesn’t give me much confidence that they’re on top of things.
If there’s an insider problem or someone’s subtly exploiting a vulnerability, nothing in this statement makes me believe it’s being handled. The community and exchanges need to keep pushing for real answers and clear action, not just reassurances.
And yeah, if I’m the "wild goose chaser" in their story, well, maybe I’m chasing the right goose. 🧐screenshots attached

@Juscryptobok You’re either actively helping the scam to continue, or you don’t want to see the evidence presented. This sadly won’t end well for anyone involved.
$ZEPH Do not buy any coins the chain has been hacked this guy below has verified the hack and the faulty chain the DEV should not be trusted more than likely he’s the scammer
A code has been compiled and run on $Zeph v1.2.0, version, before their patch.
THE INFLATION BUG HAS BEEN RECREATED, producing transactions with invalid BP+s.

@wizzofinjective@Lv10noob He is telling the truth and here is the proof. Also, big exchanges won’t disclose their supply to customers, but some small exchanges, like XEGGEX, have this info available on their website.

Recent events that happened with @HavenXHV, where they found over 50 HACKED TXs, which resulted in them halting the project due to unknown amounts of $XHV minted have lead us to explore Zephyr $ZEPH. We found 3TXs that MATCH the Haven exploit.
