Forty years later, when will Nigerians answer the call of Sheikh Zakzaky for a better life?
You have tried CPC, NNPP, APC, and PDP
Life has become harder.
All these political parties have turned into nothing but clubs of looters
Until when will you Islamic system of govt?
This is not a war on “Shia” or the Islamic Republic, this is a war on Islam.
If you’re rejoicing over Iran being attacked by USA & Israel during Ramadan, shame on you.
Stand with Iran. Stand for humanity.
Remembering Zaria: Mardiyya Abdullahi Abbas Recounts a Decade of Pain and Loss
Today marks ten years since Buhari and his associates martyred my family. Ten years since the blood of countless Muslim brothers and sisters flowed—so many that no one could count them.
They took my father, the pillar of my existence, the one who stood as my shield and comfort. They took my siblings, our lifelines. They turned our home into an empty shell, leaving behind only small children. We became fatherless—children forced to grow into the role of a father long before our time.
My mother carried and raised my elder siblings from the womb, nurturing them for years. The youngest of them was just about 18 when they were killed.
We do not know where their bodies were taken. We do not know their graves—no place to visit, no earth to touch in remembrance. Each time I visit Darur-Rahma Cemetery, my heart swells with longing. I imagine my family resting there, imagine the peace I would feel standing by their graves. Yet every time I remember they are not there, the weight of grief settles again.
But we have entrusted everything to Allah—the only One who can grant true justice. And they should know this: the homes they thought would erase our lineage… there is still unfinished business. The children they left behind have grown firmly upon the path our family walked, carrying the fire of resilience—and the resolve to seek justice.
May Allah’s peace be upon the souls of the martyrs.
The Islamic movement commemorated the birth anniversary of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra, the daughter of the Prophet (S), the wife of Imam Ali (AS) & the mother of Imam Hassan, Imam Hussain, and Lady Zainab. The occasion is observed as the International Women's Day. In Abuja, Nigeria.
“The cover-up of Sayyida #Zahra’s plights and the assault on her is one of the injustices committed against her. The event that led to her martyrdom remains largely unknown to many people. Moreover, those who assaulted her and caused her suffering are still treated with respect.”
