@jeffbatesx The salary cap prevents the dodgers from signing 5 guys like shohei ohtani. Thus redistributing these other elite players throughout the league. Dodgers can sign ohtani, but it prevents them from also keeping Freeman, Muncy, Yamamoto, Snell, Skubal, etc.
@PenguinOfTroy We talk a lot about the defense, but the offense has mostly gotten a pass for some very inconsistent play, particularly in the red zone. The run game is not great right now and losing Mosley was tough. And there is a very uncomfortable conversation to be had on Maiava.
@PubliusofTroy Our WRs aren’t getting separation on deep routes, Maiava does not throw a great deep ball, and the o line can’t hold up long enough. Maiava is also a bit of a statue in the pocket. He is closer to Kedon Slovis than Caleb Williams
@hoopshype There needs to be a cap on max salaries. 01 KG is 91 million, and others like MJ, Ewing are well over 90% of the cap. Cap it at 70-75 so you can still field a team after, just like real life
Insane: Since 2015, 29 NBA games have drawn over 14M viewers… Steph Curry was in 27 of them, per @boardroom. 🤯
The only other two? The WCF Finals Game 7 and Game 1 of the Finals of this year…
@timkawakami The Wizards have made everyone look good. They are truly abysmal. Kuminga fans were also taking a victory lap after playing them twice. Bam scored 83 on them. But nice to see KP score
Crazy to me some Warriors fans + random incels are watching 3 games of [redacted] playing against the Wizards + Blazers and are victory lapping. Going to age terribly.
@jjmaples55 Kuminga did the same thing here to start the season. Glad he’s looked good to start his Hawks career but this has been against Washington (2x), and a Portland team without Avdija/Sharpe. He wasn’t a good fit here, but these ATL games mean nothing so far.
