Today, I donated blood once again. I make it a personal commitment to donate every four months because every drop has the power to save a life.
“Blood is the only gift that gives another person a second chance at life.”
If you’re healthy and eligible, please donate. Someone, somewhere, is waiting for your gift.
@Thomas_Tayebwa No, there are many drunkards in our ghetto who drink waragi, and many of them resemble Paulo Kafeero. Excessive waragi consumption can change a person’s appearance over time.
Hon. Speaker, with due respect, there is another possible explanation. Our brother Paul Kafeero was well known for enjoying a lot of walagi. In many drinking circles, people who spend years together often end up looking surprisingly alike. 😂
I suggest we first sponsor those you’ve identified for a five-month rehabilitation program—completely free from walagi. After that, let’s compare them again. You may be surprised that the resemblance has disappeared. Sometimes walagi drinkers end up looking like fellow members of the same club! @thomas

The Poul Kafeero DNA story has shattered me. I haven’t slept all night. I’ve spent hours reading about DNA and watching heartbreaking court clips, and I couldn’t hold back my tears.
The thought that one day a DNA test could tell me my only daughter is not mine terrifies me. I honestly feel like it would destroy me from the inside. I don’t know if my heart would survive that kind of pain. It feels like a living death just imagining it.
Today, acting on intelligence information, together with Hon. Peace Tibyaze, Woman MP for Jinja District, I visited the Wairaka fishing landing site in Walakira Sub-county, Jinja District. We found evidence that some fishermen are engaging in illegal fishing by catching immature fish. This is unacceptable. I have directed the immediate arrest of all those involved. We must protect our fisheries for future generations.
Today, I met with all LC I Chairpersons of Kagoma Town Council to assess our preparedness for the upcoming LC I elections. I am pleased with the level of readiness displayed. The leaders also raised a number of key issues affecting their communities, and my office has already commenced action to address them without delay.
Together with the Assistant RDCs, we engaged all elected youth leaders in Jinja to provide guidance on their roles and responsibilities during their term of office.
I tasked them to fight corruption wherever it exists and to remain vigilant in serving the people. I reminded them that “Kisanja Hakuna Kulala” means no sleeping on the job—no leader should miss monitoring activities, council sittings, or service delivery oversight.
The future of Jinja depends on active, accountable, and patriotic youth leadership.
Happy 78th Birthday, Maama @JanetMuseveni
Your remarkable service to Uganda has transformed countless lives through initiatives that empower families, uplift communities, and strengthen education. Your leadership in introducing the competence-based curriculum is shaping a more skilled and innovative generation.
May Allah grant you good health, wisdom, and many more years of service to our nation.
As part of strengthening Ebola preparedness and prevention measures in Jinja District, I have directed the following with immediate effect:
Suspension of all non-essential school visits.
All health facilities must ensure proper hand sanitization and hygiene measures for patients and visitors.
All markets must provide handwashing and sanitization facilities for customers.
All guest houses and lodges are required to make condoms readily available for their customers.
These measures are aimed at protecting our communities and preventing the spread of Ebola. I call upon all institutions and residents to cooperate fully.

When you have no peace in a place,
When you have no peace with a person,
When you have no peace in a situation,
When you have no peace when you enter a room,
When you have no peace when you sit at a table,
It is a sign, it is a warning that something is wrong and you should be careful.
Never ignore a lack of peace.
It could save you from financial loss and protect you from danger.
Today, 17th June 2026, H.E. the President gifted me a copy of the book How Africa Missed the Bus of History. Mzee shared valuable insights with me about the African continent, its history, challenges, and opportunities. It was a great honor and a memorable learning experience.
Today, I salute Julius Malema, my brother with a strong African heart. At a time when many choose division, he continues to speak for African unity, dignity, and the protection of all people regardless of where they come from. Africa belongs to Africans.
Today, 14th June 2026, I completed my final examination paper at Nkumba University Kampala Campus.
Now I wait for the big day—the graduation ceremony in October. 🎓
If you want a quality education, I highly recommend Nkumba University.

@UEDCLTD you must compensate customers for appliances and equipment damaged by these constant power fluctuations. We cannot continue with electricity that is on for 15 minutes and off for another 15 minutes. Many people are suffering losses due to damaged devices and disrupted.
I am attending the National Budget Reading at Kololo Airstrip by the Minister of Finance. I am pleased to see that programs aimed at improving the lives of ordinary Ugandans have been prioritized and adequately funded. Together, we move forward. Aluta continua!
Today, 10th June 2026, I had a great conversation with the Big Boss, @KagutaMuseveni president of Ug the Father of our Nation, a champion of peace in East Africa, and a strong advocate for the unity of African nations.
