i was diagnosed with OCD in 2018 and it has been a constant struggle for me. seeing demi talk about dealing with the same thing that i have struggled with for years is why i will always be by their side. this is why sharing your story matters. thank you @ddlovato 🩷
ALSO THANK YOU TO INTERNATIONAL LOVATICS!!
you truly are carrying this fandom and making up for the lack of promotion!
we love and appreciate you all !
some of you have a superiority complex and think you’re connected to demi’s label and defend them still??
most of us don’t care about charts because demi has never been one to chart well but it’s about the lack of attention and respect she gets for her art.
According to reliable sources, “It's Not That Deep” did not receive enough physical copies to be sold in the United States. Target stores, one of the most popular retailers of records, did not even receive the album to be sold. Most CD and vinyl stores also did not receive copies to sell, not to mention that Demi's official store changed the shipping date to November, probably because it is out of stock.
The neglect is also happening in Europe, which did not receive enough attention and the shipment of records is also delayed.
@IslandRecords' neglect of Demi's career and work is reaching unimaginable levels (in addition, the era had NO investment in digital platforms, TV performances, or singles sent to radio stations) and is disrespectful to all the effort she and her team have put into this era.
hate to see this but this isn’t on us. this is on her team y’all
breaks my heart because this album deserves so much more but they shouldn’t expect fans to do all the work
“It’s Not That Deep” is projected to become Demi Lovato’s first album to debut outside the Billboard 200 Top 10, landing at #13 with 26,000 units. But we’re not letting that happen.
Projected chart for next week:
#1. 142,000
#5. 43,000
#7. 36,000 (HOLY FVCK’s peak)
#10. 28,800
We can help the album reach the Top 10. In 2021, “Dancing With The Devil… The Art of Starting Over” was initially projected to debut with 45,000 units. But thanks to Audiomack streams, it ended up opening at #2 with 74,000 — a boost of 29,000 units.
Audiomack is a streaming platform that counts toward the Billboard 200. Lovatics outside the US can stream “It’s Not That Deep” for free using a VPN.
How to help:
1. Download TunnelBear VPN.
2. Create an Audiomack account with the VPN turned on.
3. Stream every song from the album.
We know the fanbase isn’t as big as before, but that doesn’t matter. Demi is thriving and this is truly her best era.
if any other artist would have made this album, it would’ve been on top of the charts. the only reason why this album is being overlooked is because it’s demi lovato. everyone needs to realize that she is in her prime vocally, lyrically, and in every other aspect
