@HPDrumcraft @jegaevi A lot of the people on the audiobooks are reading side think that when I say audiobooks aren't reading, that I mean reading a book is better than listening to a book.
I don't care about one being better than the other. But reading means consuming written word.

I agree listening and reading are different skills. The reason I frame it as a definition/semantics issue is...

Others are arguing that reading means consuming a book, whether written or audio.
So it's a semantics issue because the disagreement is about the meaning of the word.

No value judgement, audiobooks are cool but I will never accept that they can be read.
