@rkruse1212 @JFreking1 @LetItFlyTom If criminals don’t care and will do it anyway, maybe reducing the supply and enforcing laws that punish illegal sellers or people who “lose” multiple guns is a good idea.

This conversation is about holding gun owners liable for crimes commissioned using their firearms. Punishing people who are irresponsible with their guns or who are selling them illegally is a good thing.

@mark_shapley @rkruse1212 @JFreking1 @LetItFlyTom It really isn’t. Gun ownership is a right but it’s also a responsibility. If your gun is stolen it should be reported immediately. If you’re a gun owner who “loses” weapons multiple times, you should lose your right to own because you’re irresponsible or you’re selling illegally.

Then limit how many times guns can be “stolen” from one individual. Lose too many guns, lose the right to own. If it wasn’t reported stolen, you’re liable for crimes committed with that firearm.
