@PacFight@CalFootball Joe Igber is my choice. Why? Because he was the top RB at a power conference school (Tedford's first 1000-yard rusher) while also earning a degree in CIVIL ENGINEERING. From Berkeley, no less! That's INSANE - it simply does. not. happen!
He's the ultimate student-athlete.
@fieldofschemes According to the original article in the Sacramento Bee, those prices are for premium season tickets, not regular season tickets.
I mean F**K THE A's completely, but it's still important to get the details right.

@GillysLocks@StoolBaseball@BarstoolHubbs That's tearing down *everything* except the field of play itself, and starting from scratch. Plus: buying up more land around the current park (assuming they can) to make it happen. And where would the A's play while the rebuild is happening? So... yet another temp. home search??
@GillysLocks@StoolBaseball@BarstoolHubbs The current capacity is around 10.6k - and you not only wanna (essentially) triple that, but also add all the amenities and infrastructure of a 21st century ballpark, not to
mention parking, etc.? That's not renovations, that's **rebuilding**.
@AlexMarksNV I didn't see that quote in either the July agenda or the May minutes. Was there something I missed, or was I not looking in the right place?
@AdamThomason33 @CaseyPrattABC7 And be ostracized by *every other owner?* Impossible.
Owners want to be able to do whatever the hell they want with their team. If they get in the way of another owner or whatever the hell they want, that's going to impede their ability to do whatever the hell they want.
@Greg05561960 @CaseyPrattABC7 Yes, but briefly. Sadly, the transit access was the only appealing thing about the site. 1) Site is below sea level - major issue. 2) Nowadays no owner will build a stadium that won't be surrounded by shops/restaurants - that part of Oakland is hella industrial. Plus more issues.
@danielleweisber Right here! When I was a kid back in the '80s, I used to read the old Guinness Books my parents had over and over, and bought updated ones for several consecutive years!
SO OBSESSED
@Belly_Beane@admancorb@DanWetzel Exactly. Vegas has proven time and again that it has the willingness and drive to build impressive structures.
Fisher, conversely, is really really really really really really really really reall really really really really really really really really really really bad at this.
