An experiential advice.

No matter what you do, do not stay anywhere outside phase 1. Your salary no reach to enter any kind of public transport.

When you come To phase one, you’d hang first for sure. Men mount full phase 1. Even Banana island, men de. There are squatters, daily pay guys all around phase 1 paying bed rent or even 15-20k monthly.
They just sleep and move in the morning. They even cook.

You can do this but it won’t be for long.
I’ve been there before.

What will save you?
Never your salary. The only thing that will save you aside God is your ability to meet people- that’s networking.
From from day one, you have to be intentional about meeting people. Join a local church or mosque, join a unit and be seen, attend events around your specialty and talk. Talk about your challenges.
Be intentional About moving up the ladder.
Another thing that will save you is that you have to be intentionally hardworking. Develop in demand skills, do the work assigned deligently, the universe is watching, people are watching.

Take care of your health. No matter where you find yourself. Buy mosquito net and cover up always. Heat doesn’t kill but mosquitoes can and will drain your resources.
Drink neat water and eat neat bukas.
Within a year, you’d be amazed at your story.

Deligency will bring you in front of kings and your situation will Change.

Or You can as well stay in your Akure and be enjoying like without adventures and still be broke.
