No other politician and recent memory has ever said anything like this and everything he talks about makes complete sense.

The government should not be controlling the cars we buy, controlling what we access on the Internet, this includes the news that we can no longer see on social media because of the liberal policies, nor mandating the fact that we have to buy only electric vehicles by 2035. He’s right, the government needs to mind their own damn business.

80 years later we have a government that has defunded our military to a degree where our own generals tell us we don't have enough munitions to fight for more than a day in active war.

A government that cut another $1 billion from our defense budget after our generals warned them we don't have the capacity to effectively defend ourselves against any potential enemies.

A government that has abandoned our military and left them literally homeless- causing over 4500 Canadian Armed Forces members to leave their ranks because they can't afford to live on their own bases.

A government that recommends veterans struggling with mental illness opt for medically assisted suicide rather than offer the support they not just need, but so rightly deserve.

I wonder, if those men who fought and died in those wars knew what our country would become- if they would still have been willing to die in a foreign muddy trench, trapped between the gates of hell, for a set of principles that would be thrown away by some trust fund kid and his gang of neomarxist oligarchs less than 100 years later.

I wonder if they would've stared evil in the eyes knowing they were clearing the way for that same evil to appear in their homeland just a few generations down the line.

I wonder if they would've stood by while Canadian taxpayers are robbed to the tune of billions, while bank accounts are seized and assets stolen, while a technocratic totalitarian state is slowly being erected around them.

I wonder.
