Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸
Today I'm thankful for the freedoms we enjoy and the hope we have in Jesus. As we celebrate with family, friends, and fireworks, let's not forget one of the greatest things we can do for our country: pray.
Pray for our leaders. Pray for our communities. Pray for the next generation. Pray that hearts across America would turn to Jesus. Don't stop praying for America. God is still hearing. God is still moving. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." — Psalms 33:12
Jesus is our rock. He is our security; our shelter in time of need. While the world might fail us, Jesus never will. My friend, you can trust and depend on Him.
"So, as we thank God for America's past, let us also ask him for spiritual renewal in our future. May he lead us, strengthen us, and pour out his blessing on this land we so dearly love."
.
The real story of America has always been about God.
As America marks 250 years, this is a moment to remember, not just celebrate. It is a time to thank God for His blessings, reflect on the spiritual foundations of our nation, and return to His Word as the authority for our lives and our future. The hope of a nation is not found in prosperity alone, but in truth, virtue, prayer, and the character of its people.

The same God who painted this sky in extraordinary hues is present in your ordinary day. Look up—He is never far (Heb. 13:5).

God is not absent when He is silent. And He is not absent when others are causing pain.
He is near. He is with you. He sees the injustice & will work all things together for good. (Romans 8:28)
Keep trusting Him. Keep going to Him. He will not leave you here.
Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
Today we’re grateful for freedom—and even more grateful for the hope we have in Christ.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! 🙏
Our country is facing a moral and spiritual crisis, and it can be easy to look around and feel like things are only getting darker. But Jesus has called His followers to be both salt and light.
In this past Sunday's message from Matthew 5, I shared why Christians are not called to isolate from the world, but to infiltrate it with truth, love, and the gospel. As salt, we preserve what is good and make others thirsty for God. As light, we point people to Jesus in a dark world.

Today, we remember and honor the day in 1865 when slavery ended in the United States.
Juneteenth marks a powerful moment in history—but it also reminds us that the story of freedom is still being written. A story of dignity and hope for all.
As we reflect today, we’re grateful for the truth that God sees every person and knows every story. Let’s keep listening, learning and loving well—together. ❤️

True security is not found in circumstances, possessions, or human strength. It begins in the presence of God. Psalms reminds us that peace is found by dwelling close to the Lord, resting under His care, and trusting Him completely through every season of life.
Four things the gospel says to a weary soul:
1. You are not too far gone.
2. You are not carrying this alone.
3. You are not loved because you are strong.
4. You are not finished, because Christ is not finished with you.
