We all have circumstances we’re currently facing that we could easily label “impossible.”
But the word “impossible” changes if we stick an apostrophe between the first two letters. Then it becomes “I’m-Possible.” God is the Great I AM. He is our possibility. He is our hope.
The habits of our hearts and minds shape us over time. As we nurture internal habits, we are choosing again and again to bend our will to them until eventually the day comes when we can no longer choose a different course. Sadly, we automatically obey sins dark demands.
You've never gone too far that God can't redeem you, restore you, forgive you, and give you a second chance. Cry out Him.
“For I will be merciful towards their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” Hebrews 8:12
God is here. God is near. And He can absolutely be trusted with it all.
Words we can cling to every moment of every day this week. Because they are true.
Some pastors refuse to "let" their congregants seek mental health care because they view depression, anxiety, & other mental health issues as issues of sin. It's all about sin for them. Many of these issues are a result of someone else's sin, not by any fault of the congregant.
Trusting God is the hardest lesson to learn but the most crucial.
To trust God is to trust His timing. To trust God is to trust His way.
Let’s fix our eyes on Jesus... choose to believe that God’s plans really are the best plans… and remember that we can trust Him.
I just can't with this. I'm almost at a loss for words. This is being said on one of the major news networks in America. This ideology is abusive in any form. Period.
If today finds you weeping, hurting, needing time to wrestle with grief & loss… it’s okay. You don’t have to try to quickly sweep up the shattered pieces of your heart.
Jesus understands what it’s like to deeply feel human emotions like grief & heartache. Let Him comfort you.
