someone trained a model on 6.4 million Solana memecoins to predict rugs using just the first 5 minutes of trading.
the funny part is they didn't need some insane AI model.
XGBoost was enough.
crypto keeps finding increasingly expensive ways to rediscover that good data beats fancy models.
anyone trading devs nowadays?
cuz it seems like everyone is focused on getting a life change 1000x, not on earning good money daily using literally the best method available
memecoins made a lot more sense once I stopped asking "is this a good token?"
and started asking:
who launched it?
who bought first?
who is supposed to buy after me?
who is already waiting to sell?
there is almost no fundamental value to analyze.
you're trading people.
AI is making it insanely cheap to build software.
it's also making it insanely cheap to build insecure software.
people are shipping entire products without understanding a line of code in their codebase.
security used to assume the developer at least knew what they wrote.
that assumption is disappearing fast, once some people start using it
most people trade the token.
I trade the dev.
a random memecoin has almost no history.
the wallet launching it does.
past launches, entry behavior, how long they stay, how they sell, what happens after they leave.
the ticker changes. the person behind it often doesn't.
might make a thread on how I trade this.
