@finnfrog I’ve always held zelink very close to my heart it’s my number one mf ship but also you can choose the second option and hc link as a butch lesbian
@MknLs_promises@chefMAO2 Exactly! Things don’t have to be black and white, he doesn’t hate his art and work, no! And writing on the wall makes it clear that he loves it quite a lot, but is his relationship with his art 100% positive and healthy? No way. He’s nuanced, and that’s okay.
@chefMAO2 This isn’t to say Alhaitham’s presence in his life doesn’t help, it does, but I won’t let Alhaitham take the credit for something Kaveh himself did most of the work for.
@chefMAO2 To ultimately heal, Kaveh has to take that step. I was referring to if he never did, and note, at the point at which the song released, he had only just started his healing journey
@chefMAO2 That doesn’t mean that’s a healthy mindset that doesn’t ultimately harm him. He overworks himself and perfects everything knowing it’ll have a good result, but that is in no way a healthy relationship to have with your work.
Trying to be respectful but ‘writing on the wall bad take’ annoys me off sm and it always does whenever I see people say it’s mischaracterisation because I don’t think you understood the song
@chefMAO2 Kaveh loves his art, that is shown in the song. It also shows that he ignores his own mental health for his art, and the song is basically a ‘what if’ for if Kaveh lets himself keep going on that destructive path.
