@JasonIsbell @RandyNewman @Newportfolkfest My husband & I were on the rail for that set, and both cried. Mom use to sing ‘Short Ppl’to me, and his Dad ‘Louisiana’ to him. Both have past, and those songs knocked us down, in the most beautiful way. Even the memory of hearing him sing those songs still chokes us up.
