The real “philosophers’ stone” is just the sanctification of your own person. It really is true that through specific spiritually alchemical methods, which can be outlined in precise scientific depth, you can open yourself better to divine grace and orient yourself in the space of a more consistent moral compass in even the most abject and depraved situations. In my view, this is what the science of Christian Kabbalah is really about. I also think it’s wonderfully serendipitous that St. Edith Stein was named “Stein,” after all. To me she is a perfect model of self-sanctification being the true philosophers’ stone.

Nietzsche is beyond Left and Right. That’s the whole point. His standpoint is that of a sort of Brutish Enchanted Realism. For a true Nietzschean, reflexive defense against EITHER “Left” or “Right” is inevitably going to be rooted in ressentiment and moralism. The closest thing we have to a genuine Nietzschean political movement today is the anti-capitalist, avowedly Gramscian New Right, which advocates for a kind of pagan ethnopluralist conservative revolution through cross-contamination with resolute and non-reductive ideas coming from the Left.
