The whole school packed in to @ststephensw12 for our service of celebration for the life of service of Queen Elizabeth II. Mr Perry read the story of Simeon from St Luke's gospel, which Rev Denis explained and Rev Cheryl gave a final blessing. We watched a film and applauded her.

We began singing 'Our God is a Great Big God', which was followed by prayers written & read by Ciara, Mathias, Ruth & Scarlett. At the end, after standing as a sign of respect for the National Anthem, each child lit a candle as we left the church as a symbol of their thanks.

Nearly 200 people joined our Christmas Service on zoom this morning, joining the children in church celebrating #Christmas and reviewing our year.
Thanks to every single one of our community for making a very challenging 2021 happen. Roll on 2022!
