The Open Data Awards is a true collaboration, and last night showed why it matters. We’re still feeling the energy from all the sharing, networking, and celebrating. Huge congrats to all our winners, inside and outside the City. You give us a reason to continue the work we do!
Our award winners showcased their projects this week, and it was a night to remember! Seeing the hard work of city staff and the public come to life was incredible. From start to finish, you could see the impact of open data—how it’s created, shared, used to make a difference.
Russia illegally and unjustifiably invaded Ukraine.
For three years now, Ukrainians have fought with courage and resilience. Their fight for democracy, freedom, and sovereignty is a fight that matters to us all.
Canada will continue to stand with Ukraine and Ukrainians in achieving a just and lasting peace.
We all have a role to play in advancing truth, justice & reconciliation. Take time to learn about the history & ongoing impacts of residential schools & reflect on what actions you can take.

@balkissoon Oh and on the Google Sheets integration...we'd worked a few years ago with the community on an easy way to pull data from the portal into GoogleSheets. TBH though, haven't tested it out in a while. If there's issues, will look to fix in the future: https://t.co/WMmZlVcnlp
@balkissoon Spoke to the team that updates the Dashboards on https://t.co/Z5q9V1ClRZ https://t.co/dXDtP5Hied). They're currently working to update with the 2021 data. Should be done soon. I like the "At a glance" comparison feature it has.
@balkissoon Thanks for your feedback 🙌It's helpful to hear from people trying to use data on the portal. You're right, the file doesn't have Toronto total yet like the 2016 one does. Better integration into https://t.co/Z5q9V1ClRZ search is a good avenue for us to investigate too.
