This last week I completed my 20th year teaching! I had an awards ceremony. Our theme was “Our Future is Looking Bright!” Two of my former students came to say goodbye since they will be moving on to middle school next year and one of them gave me flowers. 🥹@NISDMcDermott @NISD

This morning my students presented their research project to their parents, friends, and staff. It is so rewarding to see how much this group of kids have grown. I am one proud teacher! @NISD @NISDMcDermott

My heart was full today when I saw my former Kindergarten student volunteering at our Fall Festival! She remembered me and made sure to say hi. Now she is an NHS senior full of confidence and maturity. Days like today remind me why I do what I do.

This beautiful girl did it again! She mastered her Reading and her Math STAAR Test! We are so proud of her. She is so independent, intelligent, obedient, and kind. Mommy and Daddy love you so much Kamylle!
