Jared and I still can’t decide on a honeymoon location! So far we’ve considered Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro, Costa Rica, a scuba trip in the Philippines, Africa, and New Zealand! 😆 It’s such a big trip there’s so many factors to consider 🤦♀️ are we overthinking this? Lol
It’s crazy to me that a person who is married with a couple of kids can still be fully consumed by an ex whom they ended things with a decade ago. Lol why are you even still thinking about them? You need to go get laid 🤷♀️
…freak out or get fazed as much with any kind of HR situation. I’ve come so far since that first job and I’m so proud of myself for taking a leap of faith and jumping on the big opportunities that came my way despite how intimidating it all was in the beginning 😭
I can still remember when I was first starting out and I got an angry phone call from a woman who claimed that an employee of ours was allegedly using their ssn and she wanted to get the police involved. I had no idea how to handle it then and I remember I was shaking while
I was on the phone. I was 2mos into my entry-level HR job and had no previous experience whatsoever with lots of situations. I ran to my HR Director and I clearly recall being so amazed at how calm she was when I told her. Now I’m kind of in that position where I no longer
We are very lucky that we can afford to live here and still be able to maintain a pretty good lifestyle. It’s a huge privilege, and one which we do not take for granted. I guess the complaint is more for our younger generation who are just completely fucked from every angle.
I used to think that being upper middle class could afford you a more luxurious standard of living than this. Lol what a sad world we live in now. You can hustle hard and do everything right but still not be able to get the full reward for all your hardwork.
It’s pretty fucking wild to me that we are technically considered to be amongst the top 10% earners in the US with our household income and yet we still can’t afford to buy a single family home here in OC. The most that we can afford right now is a decent condo/townhome.
Which honestly we are completely fine with for a starter home, or even for a forever home if it’s nice and a decent enough size. It’s just so crazy to think about… we are technically considered “upper middle class” even for So Cal but it doesn’t quite feel like that.
