if love ever finds me again, may the universe let me meet someone who loves me as deep as i do. Someone who is never okay with hurting me. Someone who is loyal, kind & devoted. Someone who will never make me feel unwanted, someone who feels like home & also finds home in me.
I’m not embarrassed about anything I went through. What may be “tea” for you, is a testimony for me. If you’re going to talk about what broke me, invite me to the table so I can tell you what I did with the pieces, and how I transmuted negative energy into positive experiences.
My 20s definitely taught me there's no point in doubling back on anything. No friendship, not a relationship, not a Job. Once it has ran it's course, move accordingly. It's your job to take the lesson, add it to character, and move on.🫶🏽
consistently deprioritizing yourself so they can thrive is not love. eventually, you’ll get tired of stretching and overextending yourself to fit into people’s lives who lack the enthusiasm to make space for you.
the older you get the more you’ll realize that everything really is that deep. the ppl you confide in, trust, date, become friends with, the opportunities you take. what you watch and listen to. what you eat. and even what you consume mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
that "fed up" stage hits different. where nothing they say or do at that point can change your mind. you gain the strength & fight to want better, to want more. the thought of settling disgusts you & you're ready for the life you deserve. it's really everything
