lots of “why’s” here. we’re asking the same question. my grandpa shouldn’t have to drive himself to the hospital during a cardiac episode over fear of ambulatory expenses.
@sparkleglamgrl I’m sorry to hear that. I wish I could be more helpful. Just don’t give up. Keep working on you and focusing on your life and your happiness. It’ll all work out. Like one of my favorite quotes says: “Everything will be ok in the end. If it’s not ok, it’s not the end.” John Lennon
@sparkleglamgrl No doubt. I have my people that give me peace and happiness. Friends and family. I don’t mean be 100% alone. I mean in the sense of not relying on a man to fulfill those needs. We all require social interaction. But it’s good to take a hiatus from relationships. For growth.
@sparkleglamgrl For the first time in my life I am truly happy being alone and I have realized my worth. That in turn helps me to not look to others for love and approval. Like the saying goes, you can’t love someone else until you love yourself.
@sparkleglamgrl Yw! It’s hard. It’s taken me almost two years out of a relationship to just learn to be alone and love myself. Corny but I’ve found that is the first step. Learn to be alone and LIKE IT. Set yourself a goal. Mine was a year alone. When I got distracted by a guy, I’d start over.
