@MrTeatime10@COWCATGames Yea, not saying that's exactly a good thing but when comes to the general public and looking back at gaming history, when talk about the success of the PS2 the first thing that usually gets brought up, GTA, for alot of people it set a standard in gaming that still holds for some
@COWCATGames@MrTeatime10 I got my ps2 late as well, but I feel the logic is still there, Sony is usually synonymous with GTA, even if the games release on different consoles these days, Sony and GTA/Rockstar are usually link together in people conscious, especially if you grew up with a PS2.
@MrTeatime10@COWCATGames So with that it pattern would be when it comes to GTA games people will be willing to pay and play it on a Sony console, it happened with GTA IV and GTA V on ps3, especially V as the game being ported twice! And yet still being played.
@MrTeatime10@COWCATGames I know where they are coming from. It may not always been the case but there always seems to be some overlap with the success of Sony and it's consoles being propped up due to GTA being successful. Most people would argue the reason PS2 was great is because of GTA 3.
@PlayStation Seeing as how you going to a digital future i will be there at sdcc digitally, someone please save me a spot on the line so I can play๐คฃ
@SWT_Channel@SEGA In a different world , the mic drop Sega had to endure from sony back in the day from the Sega Saturn, would come around full circle with this time Sega dropping the Mic, it would been an interesting revenge arc
@DarthMolgy@DbsHype@EmperorBigD I agree, perhaps it's time to draw that connection, if everyone can accept it of course. In my opinion it would weird to do the same concept twice and just pretend like it the first time didn't happen
