More dodging. Stop responding to me, these deflections are as predictable as they are pathetic. You cannot engage at this level because you have reduced yourself to a simpleminded activist without the capacity for critical thought, accept it and just move on.
And stop pretending that this was your excuse to cower from a challenging conversation, you've been dodging me from far before I've raised these specific criticisms towards you (attached video 1).
1. It beggars belief that you think it unfair for me to accuse you of being a "mask-on radical Islamist" when you are giving a free pass to a man who mask-off defends radical Islamists.
You have accused people of Islamophobia for far, far less than what people have accused Hasan of anti-Semitism.
Not every accusation of you supporting terrorism has to come from a place of bigotry, especially when you refuse to call out people who you are promoting on your own programs who openly support terrorist attacks against the West. You have remained silent on this claim, you refuse to engage with it. People see that, and it's fair for them to draw assumptions about you when you allow these types of narratives to pass by you without criticism or mention.
2. It's funny that you claim I had my ass "handed to me" by Norman Finkelstein, then back that up by linking to a video of him...calling me silly names. You realize he later admitted to Briahna Joy Gray (attached video 2) and Marc Lamont Hill (attached video 3) that he had no intention of ever approaching that debate in good faith, yes? His whole idea was to just go in and act like a baffoon the entire time because he thought it would be funny.
It speaks highly to your intellectual honesty that you consider it to be an impressive performance when he himself admits to acting like a clown; I suppose it's emblematic of how much of a joke you are when it comes to taking the Israel/Palestine conflict seriously, though.
Funnily enough, there's actually only a few major factual disagreements we had, since Finkelstein spent the majority of the time screaming at me and calling me names. One of them had to do with the "plausibility standard" that the ICJ uses to initially hear a case brought before the court. (attached video 4)
This is where we are: A famous science educator (Dave Farina, who has debated on my stage, and was planning more events with Pangburn) releases a video about Israel/Palestine full of misinformation and propaganda. I fact-checked it and demonstrated the problems. Over 40% non-factual errors. He tells me he can no longer work with me and is planning to "bury" me. This is anti-empiricism and must be exposed. If factual criticism is met not with counter-evidence, but with threats to one's career or reputation, that is the opposite of what scientific culture should be.
This guy, Milominuteman is shorter than me IRL lol
Also he was SUPER weird IRL, Milo expressed huge racial hatred for Palestinians and was incredibly pro-genocide, such that me and my co-host had to cut an hour segment of the show out where he walked through his favorite historical methods used by foreign imperialists to torture native Arab populations. That, plus all of the homophobic slurs he used, made us never want to speak with him again.
We are not late to the conversation. We were waiting until we could confirm that our volunteers who attended the College Democrats Summit @CollegeDems were safe.
Digital Ground Game has come a long way in a short time, and we’re still learning how to navigate political spaces. From day one, our mission has been to meet young people where they are, encourage civic participation, and stand unapologetically for liberal democracy. We love this country not because it’s perfect, but because it’s worth improving. Our organization includes people of different races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, economic backgrounds, cultures, and political perspectives. What unites us is a shared commitment to democracy and to one another.
Yesterday, our concerns about the normalization of authoritarianism became very real. Young volunteers from Digital Ground Game attended what they expected to be an opportunity to engage with fellow Democrats. Instead, some were met with harassment, hostility, and an environment that no young person should have to navigate simply for participating in politics.
Many of our organizers first became politically engaged through online creators before turning that energy into real-world organizing. We never imagined we’d have to prepare young volunteers for intimidation at political events meant to welcome them.
Seeing one of the largest liberal voices @TheOmniLiberal denied entry, our volunteers being asked to leave, and others deciding to leave on their own to avoid further harassment was deeply disappointing. The smears that followed only made things worse. This level of polarization is not coming from Digital Ground Game, our partners, or the communities we work alongside.
People who glorify political violence or openly admire authoritarian movements should not be shaping spaces meant to encourage democratic participation. Wearing the imagery of dictators responsible for mass suffering is not harmless symbolism. College Democratic organizations should be places where young people can freely exchange ideas, not where intimidation and ideological bullying become normalized.
Freedom of speech and open debate are essential democratic values. But young people should never feel threatened, harassed, or pressured out of participating in political life.
We know other organizations are also checking in with their volunteers after these events, helping them process harassment both online and in person. That alone should concern everyone. If we want the next generation to participate in democracy, we have a responsibility to make political spaces safe, welcoming, and respectful.
Despite everything, we remain hopeful. The response from many journalists, public figures, community leaders, and everyday Americans has reminded us that the fight for democracy is far from over.
We encourage anyone who believes these events fell short of the values Democrats stand for to seek accountability and work toward better standards going forward.
And to every young volunteer who showed up in good faith: thank you. We’re sorry that participating in democracy came with harassment instead of encouragement. We hope you’ll keep showing up anyway. Our democracy needs you more than ever.
Digital Ground Game
Just to keep the record straight, because this manchild is trying to shadowbox and allege disinformation, here’s the order of events:
1. Hasan claimed to be the most research-heavy political commentator.
2. We cordially offered him a debate, with canvassing events as the incentive, to test that claim.
3. Members of his community began brigading and attempting to doxx our volunteers. Some still do.
4. He went on stream and spent time ranting about our organization while making defamatory statements.
5. Despite our volunteers having previously been doxxed (by Hasan), we publicly renewed our debate offer.
6. He went back on stream and doubled down on those defamatory claims, repeating misinformation.
7. Now, If he publicly tells his community to stop attempting to doxx our volunteers and smear our organization, we won’t aggressively pursue challenging his misleading public image.
However, as long as he continues weaponizing his audience, we’ll continue responding publicly 💙
just in case people forgot, the President of the United States said he wanted 6 members of Congress executed for a video they made and uploaded to Facebook and YouTube
Oh cool, I see we casually have an "enemies of the administration" list for people in the media now, hosted using my taxpayer money on the White House website.
Looking forward to all of the libertarian and "free speech" types to take a strong position on this!
@dpakman, @EdKrassen and @briantylercohen are the first three listed.
A bit of a suprise for @TheOmniLiberal and DGG community 😌🇺🇦
With our usual thank you video, we also got you guys a proper medal and an a Certificate of Appreciation from the 43rd Brigade 🏅🎉
It's very much official, with a seal and all 🧐
P. S. I am very hyped about it lol
>single nation with the ability to disrupt the world economy
>is now cutting corrupt deals with individual countries simply due to control of resources
>resorting to military violence to enforce its will, even if that means killing their own citizens
>cannot be reasoned with, ruled by a dictatorial maniac
Pic unrelated, I’m talking about Donald Trump and his tariffs.
